Description

Splendid golden organic wine in your glass. On the nose, you'll discover ripe fruit such as apple, grapefruit, and apricot. Additionally, notes of butter pastry, wood, caramel, and a hint of flint. On the palate, we get almond bitterness, rhubarb, and citrus that beautifully alternate. In short, we have a very fine Chardonnay that can certainly stand among some of the great Chardonnay wines from France or Italy. The finish is long with the oak aging subtly but persistently coming through. Top wine! This wine is also organic.


Serve with:
A wine that drinks very easily but can also be served with some beautiful dishes. For example, a bouillabaisse or a piece of sea bass. Also definitely try it with cheese. Because of its soft, rounded character with underlying acidity, this wine pairs well.

Storage:
This wine is already delicious now, but it can also be stored for at least 10 years. Longer storage is definitely possible but depends on the cellar and the vintage.

Additional Information:
For the past 25 years, the Leth family has been practicing environmentally responsible viticulture by not using herbicides and minimizing chemical plant protection. Thanks to the specific Löss soil, irrigation is not necessary, and ground cover with grass keeps the soil healthy and makes fertilization unnecessary. The harvest is exclusively manual with strict sorting, only the best grapes are used for the top wines.

This large vineyard allows for a strict selection of grapes, so only the very ripest and healthiest grapes are used. This wine is aged in wooden barrels for 1 year.
This wine is classified as 1st layer, which is similar to grand cru from France. This is a top wine from this estate, and Grüner Veltliner is Austria's pride.
