Bright yellow in color with pleasant white fruit, citrus fruits, and floral notes, lively at the outset with aromas of pear and white peach, juicy with a voluminous finish.
Belles du Sud is one of the product lines of Domaines Auriol. The name Belles du Sud is, as the label indicates, inspired by a characteristic architectural element of the Languedoc, namely the three Gratiens decorated with an amphora or fruit basket that adorn the fountain in the main squares of many towns and villages. All Belles du Sud wines are single varietal wines. They are characterized by their fruity nature, making them ideal as house wines.

Serving:
Served as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with fish or seafood, but also with white meat and creamy pasta. Serve between 10-12°C

This wine is not intended for aging.

Made from 100% Chardonnay produced by Domaines Auriol.

Terroir: Vineyard located in Corbières. It benefits from a warm and dry climate that promotes the aromatic development of the grapes during ripening, allowing for the production of a range of wines with varied profiles.

Viticulture: Great care is taken in vineyard management and grape health. The vines are pruned: in Guyot. Irrigation allows control over the ripeness and balance of the wines.

Winemaking: The grapes are mechanically harvested at night to take advantage of the nighttime coolness. Then there is destemming and a short skin maceration. The juices are settled at low temperature (7°C). Fermentation takes place under regular temperature control. At the start of fermentation, a light malolactic fermentation may occur for better aroma development.
