Description

This wine has an intense purple color with violet reflections. The aromatic nose evokes ripe red and black fruits and notes of spices. The dense and deep palate reveals beautiful length and complexity. The ripe, well-integrated tannins provide a long, harmonious finish. Immediate pleasure with the identity of a great Languedoc wine. Made from Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre.
4.1/5 Vivino

Serving:
Delicious with duck on the BBQ, aged hard cheeses, and grilled meat. Serve at 15°C or higher.

Storage:
This wine is not meant for long-term aging. It will certainly remain good for several years (2–5 years) but is not intended for extended cellaring.

Additional Information:
Vignobles Vellas is a family story that began four generations ago, in 1929, in the heart of the Languedoc region in southern France. Our motto is: striving for excellence, authenticity, and innovation. We craft exceptional wines that stir true emotions and highlight a unique terroir in every season.
Our main family estate, the Mas du Pont vineyard in the Languedoc region, is located in the municipalities of Teyran and Le Crès, near Montpellier, between Pic Saint-Loup and the Mediterranean Sea. It is the center of our activities—a place of culture, tradition, sharing, and events revolving around vineyards, wine, gastronomy, and bulls.

Nicolas Vellas brought new vision and energy to this beautiful family business, which has grown from 13 hectares of vineyards to 350 hectares today. Our 350 hectares of vineyards are spread across 14 estates.
Respect for our land and the environment is part of our way of life. That is why the majority of our vineyards are organically cultivated and spread across 8 terroirs.
