Description

Garnet red color in your glass. On the nose, a beautiful assortment of various aromas such as red fruit, herbs like bay leaf, mint, thyme, eucalyptus, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, a well-balanced, mild, and smooth wine with a spicy touch and a hint of chocolate. This wine has low tannins, which makes it very smooth.
Vivino: 3.5–3.8

Serving:
This wine pairs very well with cheese due to its low tannin content. Also delicious with BBQ. Serve this wine at 16°C, but on a warm day, feel free to serve it a bit cooler.

Storage:
This wine is not meant for aging. It will keep well for up to 5 years but will not evolve.
Additional Information:
Paul Mas is a very well-known winery that produces excellent wines: Here is a video about the estate.

Les Domaines Paul Mas is led by Jean Claude Mas, son of founder Paul Mas. They own 700 hectares of vineyards in Languedoc in the south of France, plus another 1,200 hectares under contract. The vineyards are located near the sea and are planted with Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carignan, and Cinsault for red and rosé wines. For white wines, Jean Claude planted Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Each wine has its own identity and expresses the best of the terroir. The philosophy of Paul Mas is to preserve the typicity of soil and grape variety while producing wines that meet the expectations of today’s wine lovers: lots of fruit, concentration, color, aroma, and flavor.
Languedoc-Roussillon was the first region in France to be planted with vines by the Romans when they arrived. Ancient bush vines scattered across the region produce wines with concentration and depth that can age for many years, while coastal vineyards yield beautifully fresh and sweet white wines and rosés — perfect for long summer evenings.
