An intense deep red wine with light garnet nuances (the older it gets, the more garnet color it develops). On the nose, plenty of aromas of ripe cherries, plums, and black cherries, alongside elegant balsamic and spicy notes. In the mouth, it is very broad and juicy with a balanced and fine body. The finish is soft and round with a lot of character. It is made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Colorino and aged for 18 months in barrels. A very high-quality wine for a very reasonable price.
Serve with:
A wonderful wine to enjoy on its own. Also pairs very well with lamb or cheese such as Brie de Meaux.
Serve between 16°C and 18°C.
Cellaring:
This wine is ready to drink now but can be cellared for several more years. It will continue to evolve and develop tertiary aromas.

Montepulciano is a small, perfectly preserved town, so much so that it is nicknamed the "Pearl of the Renaissance" because of its beautiful Renaissance buildings. A center of art, music, and rich in historical evidence, Montepulciano is also one of the oldest wine-producing areas.
During the Etruscan era, wine was already being produced in Montepulciano, as evidenced by the findings in the Etruscan graves in the area. There are numerous documents from later periods starting from 789 (legate of the cleric Arnipert) that testify to Montepulciano's vocation for winemaking.
