A beautiful bright yellow wine in your glass. On the nose, you will mainly find the familiar aromas of a Chardonnay aged in oak barrels. In other words: vanilla, exotic fruits such as apricot/pineapple, a touch of butter, oak, caramel and fresh green apple. On the palate, a full but not overly heavy wine, unlike many examples from New World countries. The finish is exceptionally long for this price, with a small spicy note. Long search to find an oak-aged Chardonnay that performs this well at this price point.

This wine is excellent with poultry dishes such as vol-au-vent or pigeon with an apricot-butter sauce. Also very good with fish, pasta or a summer BBQ. Personally, we also find it a top wine with sushi! Serve from 12 °C.
Storage:
This wine will not evolve much further but can certainly spend several years in your cellar.

The wine is produced by Les Vignerons du Narbonnais in Ouveillan, near the city of Narbonne. This cooperative was founded in 1936 and consists of 330 winegrowers who together cultivate more than 1500 ha of vineyards. Not only the ideal Mediterranean climate contributes to its quality; significant investments and the latest technological innovations also ensure that these winegrowers get the most out of their terroir.
Languedoc-Roussillon is not only the largest wine region in France but, with an area of around 300,000 ha, also the largest in the world. With its patchwork of soil types, picturesque mountain ranges and the Mediterranean Sea, the region is like a stunning multicoloured gem producing a wealth of interesting wine styles.
