Description

This wine is a light straw yellow in color. Aromas of white peach, grapefruit, so predominantly fruity on the nose. In the mouth, the fruit is prominent, but also the freshness of this wine. A great example of a wine to drink on its own or with pasta. The finish is dry and of medium length. Don't expect a complex wine here, but rather a tasty easy-drinking wine.

Serving suggestion:
Perfect as an aperitif or just for sipping. Also pairs well with pasta dishes with a light sauce and white meat such as chicken.
Serve at 10°C.

Storage:
This wine is ready to be enjoyed. It can be stored for a few more years in a cellar, but its taste will not improve.

Additional information:
Terre Forti is a brand of the Caviro Group, founded in 1966 in Faenza, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, to enhance the grapes of its members in a land rich in identity and with a high wine vocation. Today, this cooperative exports to more than 70 countries and represents the largest winery in Italy, ensuring high-quality standards and a wide range of wine varieties from north to south.

Respect for the environment, the promotion of safety and the well-being of workers and consumers, and the application of sustainable and circular production models are fundamental themes for this Group.

This white wine is made from 100% pinot grigio with grapes from Veneto and Trentino. Fermentation was done at exactly 18°C to impart the fruity character and freshness. This lasts 8-10 days.

What is Pinot Grigio? Pinot grigio is a white wine grape known for its crisp, light, and refreshing taste. Although its origin is in Italy, the pinot grigio grape is actually a form of pinot gris, a grape variety known to come from France. Regardless of its European history, it is now grown worldwide. Pinot grigio is known to be delightful and uncomplicated. It has a light to medium body, a pale straw color, and a subtle, delicate aroma. The taste is often described as crisp and citrusy, with notes of green apple, lemon, and pear. Some more complex pinot grigio wines also have hints of floral or mineral tones. This is a versatile wine that can be paired with a variety of dishes, including seafood, chicken, salads, and light pasta dishes. It is also often enjoyed as an aperitif or as a refreshing standalone drink.
