Description

Bright pink color, with a beautiful shimmer. Delightful aromas of cassis, violet, light spiciness, and light red fruit. On the palate, this organic rosé is lively with a nice balance between acidity and fruit. It is made from 100% Grenache. The finish is velvety smooth and pleasant, this is not just any rosé.
Belles du Sud is one of the product lines of Domaines Auriol. As the label indicates, the name Belles du Sud is inspired by a characteristic architectural element of Languedoc, namely the three Graces adorned with an amphora or fruit basket that decorate the fountain in the main square of many towns and villages.

Serving:
This is poetry in a glass! Perfectly pairs with Mediterranean salads, grilled fish, or refined vegan and vegetarian dishes. Also ideal as an aperitif! Drink between 10-12°C. Personally, a very good partner for a BBQ.

Additional information:

In Languedoc, one can find both mediocre quality wines and real gems. It is a long, stretched area running from the Pyrenees Orientales to beyond Nîmes up to the Rhône delta. It embraces the Pyrenees, l’Aude, L’Hérault, le Gard, and Lozère.

The Camargue is a marshland in the southern French Rhône delta. It lies on the Mediterranean Sea and encompasses the entire Rhône delta. Touristically, the area is known for the wild gray-white Camargue horses, black bulls, and pink flamingos. But vineyards also adorn the surroundings.

The Camargue borders the often more expensive Côtes-de-Provence appellation but does not fall short in quality and is more favorable than the sometimes very expensive Côtes de Provence wines.

More information about this wine can be found on the wine sheet after purchase (larger wine shops often copy our summaries verbatim, which we source directly from the winemakers).
