Description

A dry red wine produced from a blend of carefully selected grapes: Vranec (40%), Merlot (40%), and Carmenere (20%). The wine has a ruby-red color. The aroma is complex; its dominant fruity-spicy character reveals ripe cherries complemented by subtle hints of vanilla. The taste is full-bodied, with a velvety structure and a long finish. This is the best-selling wine of the Autumn 2025 tasting and is internationally acclaimed. Vivino’s rating of 4.2 from 2,600 reviews confirms its high popularity.

Food Pairing

Pair this wine with selected strong cheeses, Italian cured meats, and various meat specialties. Recommended serving temperature: 14-16°C.

Aging Potential

This wine can be aged for up to 10 years. It becomes slightly softer and fuller, but it is recommended to drink it 4-5 years after bottling.

Kamnik expresses the grandeur of ancient Macedonian traditions, culture, and soil, in a truly contemporary style. Combining past and future, traditions and refined state-of-the-art methods, nature and science, challenges us to create the most fascinating wine flavors. The winery’s goals and vision focus on preserving historical and traditional values, adapting them to the demands of the modern fine wine market, and simultaneously exploring the possibilities advanced technology offers.

Climate: The vineyards, located along the Vardar River in the Skopje wine region, extend over hills at a minimum of 300 m above sea level, with a southern slope. Surrounding mountains provide an excellent microclimate. Mountain air currents circulating in the area lower summer evening temperatures and keep the soil warm in winter. Vines are planted at a density of 5,500 plants per hectare and pruned using the Guyot method. Soil: The moderately fertile soil has good composition and a rich mineral content. Vinification: Pneumatic punch-down system provides exceptional color extraction with very fine tannins while preserving all aromatic compounds. Aging is carried out under strictly controlled temperature and humidity. 10 months in new French and American oak barrels.
