The bright golden bio wine in your glass results in complex and soft aromas of honey, lychee, melon, raisins, almonds, and dried apricots. This wine is not too sweet and has enough acidity to make it very exciting. Made from Chenin Blanc, this sweet wine (definitely not cloyingly sweet) results in a very complex wine. Only fully ripe grapes (concentrated by botrytis cinerea or noble rot) are harvested by successive sorted clusters. Highly recommended!
4/5 on Vivino

Tip: try it chilled with an exotic dish with plenty of spicy herbs or peppers.
Storage:
This sweet white wine can be stored easily for 10 years. It will become smoother over time.
Extra information:
Winemakers from father to son since 1927, for four generations, the estate now covers 28 hectares. Philippe and Sylvie CADY and their son Alexandre put their know-how and passion at the service of quality.
Their farm is located in St Aubin de Luigné, in the heart of the COTEAUX DU LAYON appellation. The southern slopes benefit from a privileged location that promotes the ripening of our grapes.
Their vineyard and wines are certified 'organic' by ECOCERT.
Their harvests are carried out entirely by hand to select the clusters and grapes for the production of quality wines. Their wines are naturally vinified and thus without chaptalization.
Their emblematic grape variety is obviously Chenin Blanc, planted on their schist terroirs on hills overlooking the Layon.
The three top appellations:
- COTEAUX DU LAYON 1er CRU CHAUME, a well-ventilated terroir of clay-schist that produces a soft and creamy white wine that grows in complexity over the years.
- COTEAUX DU LAYON ST AUBIN "Les Varennes", a special terroir of mica and quartz that gives the wine aromas of exotic fruit while maintaining refreshing notes of fresh fruit.
- ANJOU BLANC "CHENINSOLITE", a dry white wine with complex and fruity aromas, vinified and aged for 11 months in oak barrels.
Their range of wines is varied and extensive, given the different grape varieties and the diversity of appellations in their region.
This allows them to satisfy as many people as possible with white and red Anjous, Coteaux du Layon, Rosé de Loire, and Cabernet d'Anjou, but also with Crémant de Loire Brut (White and Rosé).
