Description

A beautiful dark red wine. Powerful and complex nose combining ripe red cherry, black fruits, pepper, figs, caramel, wood, vanilla, chocolate with spicy and smoky notes. This beautiful full-bodied red wine has a stunning long finish, where the spiciness and the soft tannins stand out. This wine has undergone 18 months of barrel aging.
 4.2/5 on Vivino

Serving suggestions:
A classic pairing for rich dishes such as stews, leg of lamb, Beef Wellington, duck breast, venison steak, and roasted pigeon. Decanting or aerating this wine depending on the bottle's age is definitely recommended! Serve at 17°C.

Storage:
Can be stored for at least 10 years and will be ready to drink from its third year. It will continue to improve over time. This 2021 vintage is drinkable now, and if purchasing six bottles, I would definitely recommend tasting one already.

Additional information:
Rhonéa is a family of more than 388 artisanal winemakers who have chosen to combine their expertise and bring life to a creative, groundbreaking model based on their knowledge of wines from the Rhône Valley. Deeply attached to their terroir and family estates, the typically French skills of these artisans have been passed down from generation to generation. Naturally, they are strong advocates of their region, good food and wine, simplicity, and pleasure.

A refreshing wind of change is blowing through the Rhonéa cooperative. Talented, curious, and creative artisans and employees are full of new ideas and actively contribute to a participatory model that brings together skills and generates new and often slightly unconventional concepts. These are shaped through a social business network, progressive workshops, transgenerational communication, Rhône Valley Ambassadors, etc. Their latest initiative is Rhonéa Vignobles, a project aimed at creating the largest vineyard in the Rhône Valley, with revenue shared among as many co-owners as possible!
